alright riders, i need some halp with the new bike.

I want something comfortable for 2up riding.
I hate cruisers. I can't stand the way they ride with your legs far forwards. It feels unnatural. I kind of like the more dirtbike or classic riding position.
So far I like the bonneville, thruxton, vstrom, klr650.

any other bikes that are comfortable for a longer 2up ride (2-3 hours?) for a combined rider weight of 250?

I'm struggling to think of anything i might be missing out on. I'm going to rent a few bikes and see how they handle it.

check out a kawasaki zrx if you like the upright riding position....they can be had for well under 5 grand and are quite reliable and fast

97' Suzuki RF900R
Custom sheetmetal tail section & front bezel
Harley LED taillight & Harley sportster headlight
Uni individual filters,Dynojet stage 2 jet kit & hacked off exhaust,Very custom water bottle coolant overflow

New less ghetto exhaust.Also replaced water bottle with a black bottle lol.
Lowering links,hid kit & buell lowering footpegs just got ordered today.

Fix the ugly rear light setup and you have a winner.

watch out for that custom bottle. if it isn't chemically resistant to coolant, it'll get eaten away and/or gum up cooling system.

i've heard from a friend that these bikes are absolutely terrible for the money (really really awful front forks?)

they are damper rod forks. is that such a terrible thing?
