Getting back into overclocking...

After ruining a $5k computer, today was my first time to OC since. Running a stock cooler this is what I was able to do on first attempt....

Prime95'd for 3hrs. Seems to be stable. Going to go for 3.6 after a few days of this.

Ya. I've seen these do 4k on air. I'll have to spring for a decent cooler as i'm sticking with air this time. Learned my lesson with phase change. Simple mistakes are costly

how did you mess up phase change? condensation? either way, good luck overclocking, depending on ram/mobo it should be rather straightforward.

condensation. The heat plate on the back of the mobo didn't properly seal. Water got on everything but the ram.
