2AZ-FE is actually not that bad of a motor it puts out just as much as the rsx(K20A3) and runs well, and with the TRD supercharger (an option until 2006) it came stock with more hp than the RSX type-S (K20a2)

Not really. I'm sure there are some built turboed ones, but i doubt they do much but MADD TYTE SKREET RACING.

Nice to see all the haters are in effect here. I've seen some Scion tC's that I liked, and some that I didn't. Not that I would ever buy one, but I don't see what's so bad about the car. It has more displacement than a lot of fwd cars out there, and the boosted ones do make good power. All this hate makes me think that you are probably insecure about something......do you have a good reason to be?

Scions are a joke...

they are good for what they are designed for (a hip "customizable" econocar) but as for tryna make your Scion fast?...gimme a break. i read some of these "scion forums" and these dudes spend like 10K to make thier POS 160hp camry motor get to 280hp....

10K on a car to only to spend another 8-10K just to get it to 280hp....psh ill get a 350z or a S2000 for that please...

well then the majority of this board who mod tegs/civics/accords/tsx/TL are all in the wrong too? The only way i can have a fast car is to buy a car that everyone and there mom is buying right now (s2k, 350z)? A tC would defiantly not be my 1st choice but if a cars looks good and is tuned right theres no reason that it cant be quick

I've test driven two tC's and they were really uninspiring to drive. Boring power curve, early redline, soft shifting, LOTS of body roll. It is possible for someone to logically dislike something.

I guess I'm insecure about how mediocre the car is?
