Peter Miles To Head Rolls-Royce North America

It was announced this morning that Peter Miles (44) has been appointed to the position of President of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America, LLC, the sales and support organisation for Rolls-Royce automobiles in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Miles will assume his new responsibilities on July 1, replacing James G. Selwa who will be leaving the company to take up a position with another manufacturer. Miles has been the western regional manager of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA since joining the organisation in September 2002.

"Peter's long experience with our west coast dealers has shown that he is the right man to lead North America - the single most important region for Rolls-Royce," said Ian Robertson, Chairman and Chief Executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

Prior to joining the company, Miles held a number of senior management positions within Ford's premier automotive group. He was born and educated in England and emigrated to the United States in 1996.
