Special thanks to all that donated! We had enough food to cook for 2xs the amount of people...we could have had a BBQ Dinner with all the donations we received. Without you guys, we would not be able to have had this BBQ Meet.

Also, special thanks to Scrub, Drunkenmaster, Ryk, Tom, Andrea, Team Obsession and everyone else that lended a 'special hand' with cooking and organizing the meet. Because of you guys (and gal ), we did not have to over-exert ourself taking pictures or cooking...we shared in the work without us having to ask, and that's why our Accord Meet is clearly superior to all other meets on HI.com.

This was our 1st attempt at a BBQ Meet and I think we did a pretty damn good job. We got decent contibutions, shared in the work, and made some kick ass food. Thanks to everyone for being patient - it took us a while to get that big ass grill started.

We have a LOT OF PICTURES that will be posted up either tonight or tomorrow, so be on the lookout When I say a lot, I mean about 3+ people taking pics, and I know AZNGUY83 has atleast 300 pictures alone

We counted about 60 cars on and off, and about 90 people. We had a variety of cars - accords, acuras, RSX/Integras, Civics, etc. Several meets had consolidated into out meet. People started attending later than we anticipated, which was fine because of the delay with the BBQ. Everyone was very chill with each other and we all enjoyed each other's company.

The Pavillion was clearly the ideal place to hold our BBQ Meet, and we will probably be holding our future BBQ meets at the same place, but the larger Pavillion #6. Parking was fantastic, the scenery and weather were sublime, and the seating/covered pavilion was a great gathering spot for us. Thank god we didn't have our meet in the free area because, as we drove by around 10am when entering the park, that area was completely sold out of parking - there were soccer teams already playing at 10am on a Sunday.

Again, special thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting the scene. For those interested in our next Accord Meet, we hold them monthly...just look out for the next Accord Meet Thread in HI.com's metropolitan section. Our next meet will probably be mid-January, likely held at our traditional "Tropical Tapioca" spot. We will be BBQing again next year, either in the spring (spring break) or summer. We want to limit our BBQ Meets to keep them special and unique. Just keep an eye out for our threads.

ACCA Organizers (VIET01AV6, AZNGUY83 and myself) would like to thank you all again for attending our meet, and we look forward to seeing you all in the near future.

My right arm has barely any armhair compared to my left arm. I think VIET suffered the worst of the burns.

All of my clothes smell like ashes/BBQ - that's why I wore my ghetto clothes. I feel 100xs better after a nice shower.

I'm glad the cops didn't give us too much shit for the 'parking' incident. Unfortunately, as I said in the FINAL UPDATE, peeling out of the park probably led to extra cop activity in the area, which attracted them to our meet. If it were not for the few people peeling out, I don't think a cop would have been there 5 minutes after we parked. Just glad we didn't get a ticket - luckily he was cool about it...

KIMO, it was nice seeing you again...it's been so long, I was asking about you @ all the hatch meets Love your new Integra...I took a closer look at it and noticed the nice JDM front end. I love the green wheels

Sorry, I forgot your name (I'm notorious for forgetting people's names)...the guy with the silver EP Hatch, whom I met a few StarNets ago who used to have the Mugen stickers on the side...nice seeing you out there as well, it was a pleasant surprise

DRUNKENMASTER/ADAM-GSR, it was nice meeting you 2 after exchanging posts online w/ each other

DATGUHDREA, it was nice having you at one of our meets for a change Thanks for your donations and keeping us company - we are glad you enjoyed our meet. Sell your Del Sol (or Celica) and get an Accord

TOM/RYK, nice seeing you guys again...love your Accords Tom's Accord is clearly the baddest ass accord at the meet. Thanks for bringing a radio and meat, and cooking for a while so we could take a break (believe me, we needed it!). Your marinated/seasoned burgers were awesome!

SCRUB, the SE Caravan was in full effect y'all This guy is responsible for getting the BBQ Pit flaming hot Next time, we will listen to him for advice on lighting a BBQ Fire.

R34 Accord, it was nice to meet you...it's been a long time. Nice Accord...love the color and wheels. We will keep you in mind for our paint/work needs.

HORNDA, nice meeting you again as well. Love your TL We will keep you in mind for our parts-needs.

CLUB OBSESSION, thanks for bringing out napkins, plates, cups, salt/pepper shakers, A1, Hot Sauce, etc. ...all the stuff we didn't think about, and would have probably cost us a fortune to get. Oh, and special thanks for running back home to get the CAUTION TAPE...it came in handy

DANNY, we didn't forget about you. Thanks for your donation People that donate to keep great things alive are what makes the import scene strong.

KYLE and D,

There are too many people to list that we would like to thank - these are just some of the few I can think of. We appreciate everyone that donated, like the guys who went out to get more drinks, or the other guys who brought ice and meat. Everyone that donated money - we really appreciate it. We will use all extra money for our next BBQ and ACCA/Accord Meet-related items.

The generosity and thoughtfulness of everyone who attended is awesome! It is a reflection of how strong our meet has grown.
