LOL caring more about your social status to a wait staff than friends, you must have great ones.

I sure do. Keep them close like family. Cause we all take rounds in paying. What so hard about that?

i guess it's a culture thing too. Asians and Hispanics are more family oriented. i haven't seen a split check since high school. maybe even middle school. it's been that long. i only carry cash so either i take care of the bill or i throw in enough to cover what i ordered plus a little extra for tips or whatever.

i've known white couples, that have been dating for years, and they go to the grocery store in separate grocery carts. i couldn't fathom the idea of me and my S/O doing that type of shit because i would've given her the boot many moons before that could ever occur.

diff strokes for diff folks.

Splitting the bill with your SO just seems weird. I don't see an issue with splitting checks personally. I don't want to unnecessarily make a waiters job more difficult but split checks is just part of the job. I've never had an issue with split checks or had a waiter give me crap about it either. Though I do like to keep cash on me to make things simpler whenever possible. For example, I went out with a buddy last night to get a bite and watch the Rockets. He didn't have cash so I just give him enough cash to cover what I ordered, he put the bill on his CC, and then I left some more cash as a tip for the waittress.

So I'm at Cajun kitchen out by wilcrest and bellaire.
I am disappoint seeing as the waitress told me their seasoning runs sweet.
I'll let y'all know how these bugs are.

We ended up here bc my jackass homeboy doesn't know the difference between wild Cajun and Cajun kitchen. Pendejo.

.... Update.
Bugs were big. The taste was rather weird. Seeing as it had some heat but sweet.
Definitely not my cup o tea.
I like my bugs spicy but with a lot of flavor.

The bugs were hard as shit. Don't know if they were undercooked but usually eating mud bugs is a one hand operation. Not here, had to use both hands to get the meet out.

My advice. If u like big bugs that require hard work. This is the place for you.

went to Flying Pug in the woodlands again yesterday for $2 Crawfish.

went through 25 lbs between 3 of us, our first batch was good, the 2nd and 3rd were AWESOME. good mixture of med and big ones, spiced almost perfect and not a lot of corn or taters.
