Being a certified welder doesn't really mean crap.Clueless people get certified all the time just like in any other field.A core support isn't really something that needs super clean stack of dime welds on it.HOWEVER it does need something a welder doesn't have experience with and thats aligning all the cars panels,etc.Your best bet is to let a bodyshop have at it.They deal with that stuff all the time.
