absolutely awesome. as someone also building a car from the ground up out of a small garage shop, I understand the effort and heart put in to this. MAJOR props for just "going at it" and learning how to do things. you dont see that much. look forward to progress.

I wired up the fans, so aside from some interior trim pieces that need to be cleaned up and installed, the car is pretty much as done as its going to get for a while at least.
Of course, I say all that, but as Im attempting to install the bumper I notice one of the rivets that goes through the fenders is missing. Either it fell off during the move or when I was installing the bumper in san antonio. Whatever the case, looks like I'll be removing the front bumper once again to replace another support bracket. At least the ones I did put on fixed the alignment issue by the hood. Its sitting on there, but not bolted up right now. ![]() And an ass shot while I was there ![]() Hood will get wrapped in a faux carbon fiber vinyl for anyone wondering why its bare aluminum right now. So at this point all Im missing is rims/tires/exhaust. I wont be able to afford all that till fall, but that works out because I still dont have everything to get a/c working, and driving this in the Houston heat with no A/C would be brutal. |
