my alternator was failing and i had just changed the plugs i made it home when it complety failed ..i pulled the plugs and it was lean would it be because the resistor box wasnt gettin enough juice ??

Not sure if it could be the resistor box but, when the alternator goes out the car tends to do all kinds of weird shit.

isnt the resistor box used to run low imp. injectors? maybe you have high imp. injectors and thats why the car is running wacky with the resistor pulled. I could be completely wrong though. Just a guess, good luck.

That's true, but you can still run high impedance injectors on cars with a resistor box. Just not the other way around.

You don't want to limit current to the point that your injectors don't get enough juice, so I wouldn't add a resistor box to high-impedance injectors. The Bosch 1000cc are high impedance if you want to run some without needing an resistor box.

ive found on alot of systems that when you have a low voltage issue teh injectors are usually the first items to stop firing properly....everyone seems to think that spark will fail first but such is ususally not the case
