    Do you still buy Blu-Rays?

Do you guys still buy Blu-Rays? A lot of people have switched to digital copies, but I can't seem to get jiggy with that. Physical copies are important to me. Especially if its one of my favorite movies.

I only play blurays (and some DVDs)
Digital copies can get lost too easily for my liking

But I don't really watch movies much so it's not a big expense buying a movie every 6 months

    Plus I enjoy collecting things...

I still buy blurays. Mostly because I stopped going to the theaters and I just wait for the bluray release. Plus like volks, I also like collecting things. I probably buy one movie a month, if that.

True. I bought John Wick on PS4 when it first came out, but it doesn't even feel like I own it. With a physical copy, I know I'll always have it there.

What's your collection looking like? Over 100?

I started collecting Blu-Rays a few years ago, but ended up taking a break. I'm getting back into it. Whenever I see any blu-ray $5 or less on amazon, I buy it.

    Waaaay over 100

I been buying blurays since blurays were introduced so it has been nearly a decade. Like you, I dont care for the digital versions but even my PS4 library has a couple dozen titles that I purchases only because they were movies I wanted to see and they were available a couple weeks before on PSN vs. bluray. I just feel like digital movies should be cheaper but since theyre not I prefer the hard copy.

I use to just download the full uncompressed Blu ray rips (40gb+) from a private torrent site cause I'm the type to watch a movie just once, maybe twice if I really like it. I also dont like the clutter of disks cases building up and find it much easier to store it on my home theater PC for easy viewing whenever I want.

Of course Comcast has to fuck shit up by implementing 1TB data caps so I haven't been downloading as many movies but I find my ways via public wifi when I'm on the road traveling.

    Sent from my Nexus 6P

The most recent movie I have on Blu-ray is Casino Royale, so no.

Makes sense. I agree, digital copies should be cheaper.
