R motors are a waste of money. You can usually build you're own for half the price.

there is a price difference between LS and GSR, right?
you can buy LS swap, and with the difference in money you would have if you have just enough to buy the GSR swap, you can use that money to get the LS motor to whoop a stock GSR anytime.
Don't need no stinkin VTEC.....
T-67 turbo GSR

Did you read his question? Did it say anything about price, No.

Damn, getting pretty defensive eh? Well you always got to consider price in anything you do to your car. Don't wanna pay thousands of dollars on a GSR motor when you can spend 1/2 that money and go just as fast with a nice LS setup, do you?
Back to the guy's question, I'd still say LS over a GSR purely for economic reason. Thats just me though. :thumb:

h22 will put u down in the 13's but youll have to raise you car and becareful of bumps cause you can crack the oil pan. the Ls is a good swap but it has bad top end . gsr has a good top end but bad low end. i would go w/ Ls vtech or b20 vtech

Is this coming from personal experience, or what you heard? There are several people out there in houston that have this swap in their civic/integras, and have no suspension problems. The weight of the H22 is not much different from a b18 with a turbo kit.

You are right. You wouldn't put a H22 in a CRX.

Nevermind the fact that you can't. Well, not without EXTENSIVE modifications. Just fitting a GSR into a CRX can pose problems.
I say go with an LS or B16.
