if you were in a 900whp solid axle drag car with a 7500rpm stall on a 33 in slick, then a 2.1 SUCKS. you should have had something along the lines of a 1.3 or a 1.2

i was there last night also, saw the firebird flip first hand.

i couldnt get better than a 2.2x 60ft and was stuck in 15 second land all night :(

i thought awd would pull 2.0 atleast... but we ha dthe llaunches down and it pulled hard!! but damn no less than 2.1

all launches gave me = 60' first try was 4500 rpm dump
next was 5500 dump
then we did rev limiter dump.. all got low 2.1

yeah with a 15.7 I believe you. lol

Though you don't have a factory turbo to spoon feed ya horespower (:baby:), just get some more power off the line, and you'll see that 60' drop. Other than that, 2.0, 2.1, i'd imagine is all you're really going to see. Some gas will fix that problem. :D

barely?? what did you run?? 15.7?? what did i run 15.0?? i would say nearly 1 second and still pulling is quite a beating.

BTW i was running slower than i usually do thanks to the humidity

eidt: not to mention all i have done is an intake and balance shafts removed.

You might have ran a 15.0 and barely won if you didn't cut a good light. {if that makes sense}

what was the reaction time for both drivers on that pass?

When comparing timeslips you "should" compare what is called "the total package"
there is a MOV {margin of victory}
or Margin of Win on the bottom of the timeslip.
THAT is where you see how bad you won or lost..

If the 15.0 driver cuts a 1.2 light and the 15.7 driver cuts a .500 light, then both cars would reach the finish line at the same time.

1.2 reaction is .7 away from a .500 perfect light.

im usually run 14.8s@92mph, but thats besides the point, btw the QR25DE is not realy boost friendly, its only good to about 250whp.

so balance shafts removed and intake arent really bolt ons??? the car is not stock with those mods, and the 240, how old is your car compared to a 1 or 2 year old car with much more hp than you?

Yeah it was a fun run and my car stoped knocking. It was weird dont know why it did that. Ive got to admit though your spec V is alot faster then some of the other ones ive ran that are stock. We should run agian once we do more stuff with our cars. BTW what does the removal of balancing shafts do? and if i could do that on my car as well?

your car doesnt have them. Basically all the balance shafts do is reduce noise vibration harshness. I just get a lil more vibration at 2500rpms.

Don't even get me started. Last time at the track in the truck (1-17-03, perfect track day, but aweful for traction) I couldn't pull better than a damn 2.45 60' time all night. 15.3 with a 2.45, I would just love to see what I woulda run if I coulda had a 2.1 or 2.0 like these fools here :D

well that was all stock now i have cold air intake and borla cat back exhasut and im getting a borla header... and then a 50 shot of nitrous... im hoping for 1.8's or less

Mine is stock, bone stock with 200,000 miles on it.

Valve covers have never been off the car
Oil pan has never been off the car.
No internal engine mods.
only real mod is
2.5 inch exhaust and a chip.

2.10 60ft
96 MPH
{run was made at TAD in temple, at a much higher altitude than HRP}
it was a 14.5 run.
looking forward to friday night at HRP to see what the car will run in H-town GOOD AIR!

14.20's? would be happy with 14.3's at this point.
