when your do'n dvc's...stay away from the odd number woofers...do 2 or 4...

couldn't you get dual 4ohm subs, and wire everything together to acheive a 1 ohm load?

Not with THREE dual 4ohms, you'd either wire them to 2.66ohm (series-parallel) or .66ohm (all paralleled)

Dual 6ohm in a trio can net a 1ohm

man just get 2 12's
you'll be more pleased with the sound

i recommend alpine type R's, JL 12w3v2's, rockford hx2 (either one would be good but get the power hx2 if you want to do spl), or just get 1 solobaric L7 15 nad im SURE you'll be happy

I have the he2's on an old skool 1100 watt punch amp

Oh, incidentally, I have my RF BD500.1 for sale, say $225, or $235 shipped if you can't meet to make the swap cuz you don't live in houston or something..

it's 250@4ohm, 500@2ohm, not 1ohm stable

i would go with 2-12s but i got a deal on a box for 3-10s that allows me to still have trunk space

also 3-10s looks different from the usual 2-12s that most people go with

I like those 10's. Power efficient, and they sound pretty good for what they are. I put one of those enclosures with three 10 inch subs into my friends 97 accord EX on a crappy 800watt boss amp. I say that was more like 200-300 watts, but its sounded pretty nice.
