I've seen this whole movie, i rented it at some place in china town.

The main characters buddy was a uber mechanic(the dude you saw in the labtop) , he got killed, in a ducktape match vs some other guy, but before that he fixed the main character's car up and added nos+ upgrades. So after he died the main character wanted to avenge him. So after he won he burned the car in respect for him. Great Movie :rock:

hey so I assume you are a European or a jap despite of being an American? cuz I haven't seen any other countries came up with a movie like that yet...so gay or not let's consider something first..this movie's made in the early 90s, that's one of the first movies actually based on the street races and illegal nitrous uses..so gay or not, you just showed everyone here that you are a hater.






and by the way, they burned the car at end because the car was built by a good friend(the guy who couldn't speak clearly) of the driver who died because of him, in Chinese trandition, it is believe if you burn something for someone who died, they will get it in the other world.

The guy in the white STi, tong fung was more of the antagonist of the movie who pretty much was an older, more-experienced racer who had just gotten out of prison. Tong fung had beaten Sky in revenge for beating his brother earlier. At the beginning of the movie sky & tong fung's bro race around the city. The side bet is $1million or tong fung's bro gets his leg broken. :kekegay:
