check the fuse(duhhh). then take apart the door and see if ur getting any electricity to the window motor. if u do then its the motor, if u dont check every thing elses :roflmao: :thumb:

o shit the fuse.... i never even thought of that... good idea.... but what about the motor.... the left window works fine but the pasanger one doesnt.... you think it would still be the motor? thanks. ill check the fuse.

ya it could be the motor, but again its a fuse;if the fuse if blown whats the point taking the whole thing apart before taking everything off and probably it has a fuse for the right and left window. do this, get a multimeter, if the fuse its working and u still dont have any current, take everything apart, check for current of the motor connector , if theres current then its ur motor and if theres not check all the wiring, could be the ground is off somewere.
good luck :thumb:

Did the window slowly stop working, or did it just stop at once? 90% of the time on GM cars its the motor, which is $40 at Autozone with a lifetime warranty, and takes 1-3 hours to switch out depending on how mechanically skilled you are. The other 10% its the window switch itself or possibly the fuse.
If the window went down slowly for a while and then quit working its the motor. If it stopped working, or only worked sometimes and then stopped altogether its your switch. If just stopped working at once it may be your fuse.

Oh yeah and if it turns out to be your motor, clean out the tracks while your in there. The gunk that builds up slows the window down and is what causes the motor to burn up and go out.
