Symptoms :
I hear this knocking noise coming from my axle and the CV joints, when i accelerate from 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. It always makes the noise when I accelerate slowly.
There are no grease on both of my rims.
Do you guys have any idea what it could be ?
CV boot broken ?
Driveshaft ?
Front axle ?
stupid car, waited till my warranty ends then it breaks on me !

check the cv axles like you said. grab the axle and try shaking it. it shoudlnt move at all. those bearing in there can go bad it the rubber boot that goes there gets torn. it will then let dirt in and destroy it.

its probley the joint and not the bearing inside.. sometimes the joints go out but the bearing are still good. autozone it

not possible. the joint is made up of bearings. do you even know what a cv joint looks like, or how it works?

yes, i'm fully aware of what a cv joint looks like. both RZeppa, and cardan style joints. but you didn't answer my question.
how can a joint that is completely comprised of bearings, have bad bearings but a good joint?
