I dropped my car with some eibach prokit springs and didn't change my shocks. This was about 5years ago. Its not much of a drop, but my ride seems to be a lot more bumpy than when I first dropped it. Am I going to fock up my suspension, not just my shocks?

its probably the spring rate on the car. your springs are probably just real stiff.
you can check the shocks by pushing down on you car and trying to bounce it. if it's easy t make it go up and down ALOT, and then it dosnt come to almost a complete stop, then you probably want to replace the shocks. If it does come back up almost to a complete stop immediatly, then i would say they are fine.
also a few others pointer the shocks are bad. have you ever gone over a speed bump real slowly, and when you get on the other side you car comes slamming down on the speed bump? well my old car did, nce i replaced the shocks it never did that again.

I have ProKit springs on my car, too. Put them on last July. My car is way bumpy. :-/ I was curious as to what I should do, too. Sometimes it's so bad, if I hit a bump on a road and I'm going faster than, say, 40mph, my CD will stop for a split second. I'm guessing that's not good, lol.

your springs are probably real stiff. when you lower your car you dont want them to bounce to much when you hit a bump, or else you tire will hit the tire well, and you car wil bottom out. thats why they make the drop springs stiffer.

i feel like the rite thing to do is, if you throw a aftermarket spring on a car other then the stock Honda, Acura or whatever you should go with aftermarket shock too. just for the fact that is the stock shocks are made for the stock spring. and when you alter them, one is going to give. there like made for each other, (spring rate and shock rate). if it was me i would have just gotten both of them at one time and save the headach of worrying about why this and why that.. remember whenever buying aftermarket spring they take about 2 weeks to settle in to the height. (depending on how much you drive)
