Jones @ steepleway where the "Wing stop" and where some bar and other new place is, parking lot.
It is a new, small, shopping strip down the street from slicks. They didnt take the time to sweep the ground and its riddled with sand, dirt, and small pebble rocks. I pulled up into this lot last night, proceeded to pass by that new bar very slowly just checking it out, and when I proceeded to turn the corner, the next thing I knew was that I was on the ground looking at my headlights wondering WTF just happened.
My bike slipped as if it was on ice. You cant see the dirt n rocks cause its all white like the cement. I wasnt braking, wasnt accelerating, wasnt doing shit but making a simple, slow turn. Nothing bad happend to the bike, (Thanks to the frame sliders! ) but there are "a few" scratches. I am very pissed because that shit wasnt cool.

BTW, I probably slide about 3ft on my left hand, and my left glove is shredded around the wrist area. 3ft and my glove is ruined. Gear works :) If I wasnt wearing gloves, my wrist probably would have been cut wide open.

Man that's horrible. this is why wearing a helmet and gear is very important. It will atleast give you a better chance.

Yeah that was the R1 cop. No helmet but he wouldnt have lived anyways. A little cross marks the area where he died. Ironically, I fell near that area. Hmmmmmm

Yeah, dont think about it, go buy them. There are so many advantages to wearing gloves:
1) Rocks / bugs / dirt
2) Falling.
3) Picking up gross stuff
4) More comfort / grip
5) Easier to knock people out :roflmao: :thumb:
Why NOT wear gloves? Its an extra 2 second hassle. wow.
