Hey sup guys! im new here. My 90 teg has a b18a engine, after a while the engine starts to heat up it usually takes like 40 minutes of driving before it starts crossing the middle of the temperture gauge. i need help. i think is the timming , but i just want to get some other theories of what might be. thanks!! :thumb:
Make sure your water pump is circulating water, your thermostat isn't stuck, and if you have take your ac out and removed the ac fan then its possible your cooling fan doesnt kick on. I have 91 crx and I just had to wire the fan up. Pretty simple to figure out, if your car is running just turn ac on and hit the ac button and see if the fan kicks on automaticly.

most likely it's going to be ur headgasket going out. do a leakdown test to be sure. but replace the thermostat first, to see if that fixes it.
also, if you fans aren't coming on, hardwireing them isn't the right fix, replace the relay that controls them, unless you want to fry the fan motor. also the fans running at highway speeds will actually impede air flow through the radiator making the car run hotter. the fans are only meant to be on at very low speed or parked driving.

It doesn't have a thermostat? Why not? It should, and not having one could be just as bad as having a malfunctioning one.
