in portland sources say dealers are selling Lancer evo for around 30,000 and the Sti between 30-35 Gz... if you are planning to buy one, i'd wait a while.... unless you are ballin

if i understand correctly the EVO will be in dealers before the STi, but the STi will be the better car.

so its all a matter of whether or not you are willing to wait another half a year for the STi.

if the Evo8 is anything like the VII (which it is) it should be pretty fkn hot right outta the dealer...

but i got a feeling the STi will still own up on it.

they are two different cars. subarus are more all purpose...lancer is a purpose built road car.

i like the new evo's...hate the taillights though...is it possible to get rid of them? they look god awful.

i made fun of the green one at the auto show...that thing was disgusting.

the red one looked hot.

i like both cars, the evo looks a lot cleaner (IMO) but the subaru lives up to the name, i am going to see how many kids in the woods get the STI and the EVO.

i remember when the s2000's first hit... msrp was just over 33K, everyone was asking between 38-40K. i wouldn't doubt seeing something similar happen in this case. damn, those evo's are gonna be phat though... never thought i'd think this seriously about owning a dsm.
