i have a 2000 susuki 600 and i dont know what to do to turn the damn thing on. i had it away for the winter but now that i want to turn it on, the damn thing doesnt start. can someone please help. where are the spark plugs located on those bikes?

carb'd or FI? is the battery charged?

good rule of thumb, over the winter....if its too cold for you to ride.....at least start it every few days and let it run for a few min....

that would fall under the "should've done but too late now so it doesn't help at all" catagory.

spark plugs should be under the gas tank then remove the air box and they are underneath it...LMK

how do i drain the gas tank? do i have to remove the side panels to get to the spark plugs?

you prolly have to remove side panels to get to YOUR plugs (mine you dont) to drain tank, take your tank off and take petcock out....
if its a 2000 gixxer600 model it should be carbed.

TOO COLD its never too cold. ride without a shirt you'll love it :D

start off by checking your battery, most common reason for a bike to not start. they have smaller "high performance-light weight" batteries that tend to die when they sit for more than a month at a time......excpecially with suzuki products. if that isn't it then what you need to do (I HIGHLY SUGGEST) get a manual for the bike because a lot of bikes you have to do things that you wouldn't even imagine having to do to get to something. plus you will have it for the future problems that may occur.
