Pannizi is the Number One driver for Mitsubishi right now, and for those of you that don't know, they just ran a WRC round down in Mexico this past weekend...

Looks like someone found him on a road section of the rally (transiting between stages or service)...

FYI, he finished 8th overall, definitly not bad for the new Lancer WRC. (they are still shaking out all the bugs)

For those of you that follow rally, this is the guy that was so far ahead in a rally, he took the time to do a donut in the middle of a stage, for the crowd!

when you consider mexico is a new rally on the calendar, I think they all feel lucky just to finish. Carlos Sainz got screwed by a new tire rule, they have to 'declare' which tires they are gonna use on each service BEFORE the rally starts, and his service crew registered the wrong tires, so he had to go back out on old tires!!!!

in car camera showed a cool spin... he was gonna take the lead, but blew it, overcooked into a turn and put the car on it's side...

still, he at least got 3rd.... most impressive

hmmm...dont realy feel it

it depends on what kind of pro racing your into... if you were into nascar, you would find it very cool to pass one of them 'good ole boys' in his racecar driving down the highway...

Of course, if you think nascar isn't that cool, you would probably say 'don't realy feel it' ;)

sorry at least one of us has really had a street race in Mexico. Sorry, I didn't know that I would piss off everyone with the street race I had in Mexico with a car that costs half a million(and beat).

Story goes as, I past him just taking some video, get about 2 car lengths ahead as I go to film another car down the road. I hear him punch it behind me so I put it in 4th at about 80 mph. He get out on me a little bit, however, by 115 I have him by a fender. Then right at about 120 Gilles runs out of gears and I shoot forward.

MY STORY, I went to mexico had fun and the rest of you suck.
