i think 210 is about right... and if its across all 4, that should be a good indication.

you might as well just hit some nos on it, my friend had the same kind of compression on his gsr, shitty, so we hit a 100 shot on it and ended its life. Hey K20 its me enrique, i heard you broke the 13's

It should be higher than that. My 99 B18b1 w/55k hit 205 on all 4 cylinders.

The Helms says that the nominal range for a B18C is 270. Considering the age and mileage of you motor, I would say you should be around 220 in all 4 if you took care of it. What year/mileage are we talking here?

seen 220 before and 215 around there if you took care of it

how do you check the compression?

To check your compression remove all spark plugs, grab a rubber balloon and insert into the spark plug hole making sure air doesnt leak out the balloon, crank the car a couple of times over with your foot at WOT, the balloon will then fill with air, once the balloon stops getting larger tie a knot and measure the diameter of the balloon. Compression is calculated by the diameter of the baloon X number of cranks .
