If the starter sounds like it's turnin at a good speed look first to the fuel pressure regulator. For some reason these like to crap out on 240s... and it makes starting the car more of a task because it won't pressurize the fuel enough.

Other things to look for:

- Cap
- Rotor
- Wires
- Plugs

Make sure the rotor doesn't have a ton of white buildup on the leads, and the rotor isn't a crispy critter. The wires you can test for resistance. And the plugs, use your judgement.

- Battery Connections (make sure they aren't gunked up)
- Fuel Filter (car would also run like arse when it's driving)
