it's a 2001 yzf600r with only 1800 miles on it..pretty nice bike...cheap too.I should be picking it up thursday. Whats everyones opinion on this bike?

R6 is 03-04 Fuel Injected and a lighter and Faster with shorter gear ratio's.

For one it weighs more but it costs less

600r is less aggressive than the r6, not as quick, more comfy (for some people), heavier, cheaper ttl $ and insurance, and bodywork is different.
Personally, I think they are great bikes, and I would get one before I got an r6, I dont need a wheelie machine.

R1 is the wheelie machine, R6 wants to play on the ground more but will raise up if you kick it hard enough :rock:
