Got me a new bike

I initially had my heart set on the SV1000S. I love Vtwins. Then with all this talk about CBR's and me seeing an '02 F4i on Ebay for a great price in Houston I nearly got it. Checked it out, sat on it, decided I wanted it. Got outbid...grr.

Being bummed out I checked out Eximports but they didn't have any in the black/red color I wanted, not to mention they were a little out of my price range. So I headed over to Stubbs, nope they didn't have any black/reds either. The salesman asked if I'd be interested in an 03 SV650S. Found out it's copper, my fav SV color. Went home and thought about it, realized that I've only got 9 months and 2500 miles of experience so it'd be smarter to stick with something light (under 400lbs dry) and not too fast, plus it's copper. Sold.

Got it for a good price, still under warranty. Only problem is that the previous owner tipped it over, so the brake lever is chipped at the end, and the front fairing has some scratches, otherwise it's perfect.

Need to take better pictures when the sun's out.

Oh definately. Single pipe on a twin is just, wrong. I can barely hear this thing it's sad.

Nice! I always liked how the naked 1st gens looked over the 2nd gens. The frame is sexxay. I remember the first day I rode it home and thought, "damn this thing is uncomfortable, shoulda gotten the non S." But I'm used to it now.
