what do you think is the best bike you can buy (brand new) for the buck right now is? and y?

as of right now the r1 because its out. saw it today that thing rox hardcore

i'd say the Yamaha FZ1, built off the R1 but more user friendly, go anywhere, do anything kinda bike, cheaper too.

any 600 under 7K, most people dont need much more for street. Then again, I might say the zx9r, its a nice all around sportbike, classic yet stylish and quite comfortable.

Pretty difficult question to answer with so many different types of bikes out there. I like the Honda Nighthawk 750. $5500 for a super reliable, easy to ride, great to learn on bike. It also has plenty of power for around town and the occasional speed trip.

kawasaki makes decent bikes for a good price. I dont really like kawa though
