Anyone had to replace their windshield?

I have a 1991 crx hf with a crack going all the way across the windshield-has anyone here ever had to replace a windshield?What are the costs and did you use a glass place or just find one at a junkyard etc and do it yourself? :ugh:

i am about to.. when i replaced it on my tercel it was 150.

wrd, maxima glass was like $150.

I think I got ripped off when I should have gotten the hook up. I had my car a couple of years ago at the body shop where my ex bf's dad worked at and I paid like $300-400 for the windshield to get replaced :-/

Go to Uniglass on Hopper Rd. they are cheap and do great work, they have done like 3 windsheilds and window repair for me and my brothers :thumb:

call kick ass auto glass. he only charges 100 bucks for a crx and he drives to where ever you live. even work if you want. thats what he told me. :thumb:

yeah, my windshield has a moderate crack on the right side. i really need to get it fixed

and the windows need to be re-tinted

and i should probably replace the tail gate (little bit of rust on the bottom)

Best Price Auto Glass did mine on my 1990 Teg - they did it for 120. they are on the corner of shepard and W.little York - sorry - cant remember the number but they are good guys and they do all pieces of glass

do all these prices have the price of the windshield included or are they just for labor? i thought windshield glass was pretty expensive.

Dude, this place is the shit!!!......... they work fast too. I had my 2000 civic Si windshield replaced like 2 weeks ago for 100 bux installed, call them up, 281-449-0808
