Sounds like a reasonable price for that bike. Looks to be very clean :thumb:

Dude, GO SIT ON the bikes at a local dealership and see which one fits you better. I see you keep going b/w the CBR and R6. Dont worry about the price right now. Find out which bike you want first, then look. All 600's have the same amount of pwr. But all 600's "handle" differently. The CBR may fit you better then the R6. Go find out. Its going to suck if you go n buy a CBR and find out later you like the way the R6 feels.

BTW, I have a dealer up in WI that can give you bad ass deals on bikes. PM me if you want his email, and ask him what he has. There will be a shipping charge, but your going to pay less then buying in Houston even WITH that shipping charge. Buy bikes up north. Since its almost summer time, your going to pay more anyways, so might as well save as much as you can.

I agree with noquicky... Also depends what type of riding you plan on doing, what type of experience you have. You'll often find some smokin' deals on bikes out of town. I got my Gixxer out of Fort Worth for 5800 and it was clean as hell. The key is being patient... :thumb: You'll find a bad ass deal somewhere

for just a couple k more you can have a brand new one, with better frame, better engine, better brakes, better handling, better suspension, a warranty, and better looks.

but that's just my opinion. if i were you tho, i'd at least stick with a bike that's fuel injected. much less hassle, and easier to upgrade.

I don't have a couple of K more...and if you would explain the hassle's with carburated, and FI are easier to upgrade.

ok, then get a new one financed and build your credit while having a better bike.

the hassles of carbs:

cold starts suck, gotta use the choke and let the bike sit for 5-10 minutes until it warms up enough that you can ride it. FI you can just start it up and go.

fine tuning your fuel (which you will have to do fairly often to keep it running right) is a pain, especially if you don't have any experience with carbs. FI, tunes itself.

when you do a lot of mods on the carb bikes, you have get get jet kits, then put them in, etc etc. basically rebuilding the entire carb, and retuning the whole bike. with FI, you can just buy a piggyback computer, download a program off the web with the mods and bike you have, and viola, a perfectly tuned bike.

the FI bikes are more fuel effiecient and are now running smoother with more linear power delivery than ever before.

I have a carbed bike, and let me tell you, everything Don just said, is 110% true......I dont know shit about carbs, so the whole working on my own bike thing suck, cuz i have to read and re read the service manual when im doing shit......if it were Fi'ed, it would be way easier.....

Looks pretty decent to me. I like Honda sportbikes and the F4i is a great choice. Only things that drive me nuts are the one headlight thing and the seat is so shitty. Other than that, go for it dude.
