i started out at the ripe young age of 5. my dad bought me a xr50, started racing them, went to a xr 100, and then a cr 80, then a few cr 125's, got bored with motox, so we decided to give roadracing a shot. bought a 92 CBR 600F2, rode that for a week, then sent it to the shop to get the race crap done, rode it around for another 8 months until i turned 16, then went to get my AMA liscense, wrecked during the track session, NOT MY FAULT.

i've ridden just about every modern sportbike there is, having lots of friends that are salesmen has it's perks, but haven't owned one since my F2 was totalled. I'll be picking up an 04 all black CBR1000RR in July tho, just in time for my birthday. hehehehe. I can't wait.

First bike I own. I learned on a 90 Kawasaki Zephyr 550(bhzrex's first bike)
Ive been into all aspects of motor sports since i was a kid. its in my blood. My father got killed on his bike back in 82.

The F3 is just an awesome starter bike IMO. It's sporty yet has predictable power delivery and you will not outgrow it quickly. It's also very reasonably priced and parts are abundant. The R6 well, is exactly that. :cool:

I don't know what bike I had when i was a kid but I use to take my older brothers bike and go riding. I had to start it then run next to it till I got going then hop on. then the opposite when I came back. I was about 6 or 7 and that was a LONG time ago.
but most recently:
first street bike that was actually mine. 83 GPZ 1100. first FI bike.(it sucked!)
89 radian;89 gsxr 750; 90 gsxr 750;87 hurricain 600(dads and mine) GS500 E(first road race bike) about 5 ysr 50's(more race bikes) bandit 400(last race bike);92 f2; 99gsxr 750; 2001 1000; 94 f2; building a new race bike: gs500e with a KTM duke II motor in it. it'll be about 275-300lbs @ about 55HP with stock motor. should be fun. haven't been riding in the last year or so. I've been building a import car.
