But on TopGears track, the RX-8 tied the BMW M3 and Nission 350Z.

hmm iono the rx8 is not FAST but its pretty agile and quick. Not a drag car but certainly can take turns at high speeds. Rx8 driver in that vid wasnt hitting all the way to the 9k revs ,but im not gonna say more. The point is he lost and thats that. Should watch the revenge battle when the Slightly tuned Mazdaspeed (suspension,airfilter,driver) rx8 whoops up on a factory performance S2000, Integra Type R, Golf R32, and Alfa GTA.

Just trying to back up the car I love so much because in reality its not all that bad. I admit it does lack torque but you just have to get the baby revvin high. :D

Im pretty sure, it looked like, there was a baseline(maybe with some sport package that adds nice tires) WRX not even an sti... get it straight gosh, friekin idiot- nepolion dinomite< I think they should've thrown a V8 miata in there for fun! but then again they dont have those in japan... USDM ROCKS!!well... the aftermarket for making v8 miatas at least.... whatever
