GG on wanting to take the course. The beginner course is more expensive because they provide you with everything. All you need is long pants, long shirt, gloves and ankle-high shoes or boots.

which one are yall thinking of going to? Does the one in Rosenburg qualify you for the riding part of the test as well? I would like to do this in the summer also.

search MSF or call 800-292-5787 (motorcycle.safety@txdps.state.tx.us
www.txdps.state.tx.us/msb) and they will tell you where the courses are. There should be a course at any college near by, just need to call ahead and schedule it. I bet they are filling up fast with the nice weather approaching.

Trust me, no matter where you go to take the course, you WILL BE GLAD you bought your own helmet, gloves, and any kind of boots that come up over your ankles BEFORE you go to the class.
You dont wear a helmet many others have worn. Thats just not cool and is rather disgusting. The POS bikes they provide will also throw your ass on the ground if you go into the class thinking your one of those bad boy harley riders who know everything about anything.

actually i was going to sign us both up for it for a couple weeks from now. i'm going to register monday.
the last time i took the course they kicked me out because i wheelied on of their bikes, the guy sitting next to me dared me to do it. lol, it didn't matter anyways because i already had my license, just was doing it for cheaper insurance. so much for that, lol.
crazyness did you get your money back?
