found a 2000 Lexo GS3 on uncles car lot, he'll sell it to me for 19gs plus TTL would equal to 20gs. main reason why i want a new ride is cause my 98 accord has 111500k miles on it and im lookin for something that has lower miles, but damn this 2000 GS3 PLatinum Edition, super clean, but it has 81k miles, not too far from my accord. OR should i buy a bike??? Most my friends have bikes and they are pimpin. Bike=Chick Magnet Machine :thumb:

you dont need the gs or a bike to pimp. and would you really want a girl thats going out with you because of a car/bike?

That's not exactly a stellar deal on that Lexus. It's totally up to you though. I personally wouldn't buy a car that old with that many miles on it already. My dad's '98 Accord has over 170,000 and it runs awesome still.
Don't buy a bike unless you are VERY responsible and have money to do it. It gets expensive for parts, gear, maintenence, and mods.

Get a harley then you can REALLY pull chicks :D
bikes are just like cars they both require more maintenance when they get older or have alot of miles. Although the GS is nice as that car gets older and has more miles the maintenance on that get expensive and if you dont know how to fix shit urself its gonna cost you some money(compared to a Honda) to have it serviced. Do you know how much the 100k mile serive cost at Lexus? like 1400$ or if you know someone you prob could get that stuff done at half the price. I think the question is more can you afford the cost of maintenance later on ,on the Lexus or the bike. I have a Lexus and a bike I know how to do stuff myself so that saves me alot of money. Also I have yet to pull any girls with my car or bike, its not the car or bike that pulls the girls its the person. Although girls do tend to ask to go for rides on bikes alot though.
me id get what i could afford. If that would be a honda and a bike then i get a honda and a bike. Insurance is alot cheap on a honda and a bike also compared to a Lexus.

It definately is an expensive hobby especially if you wanna track it. Also you NEED gear, as in, this is not an option. And of course gear is expensive. I spent around another $1000 the week I got my bike on gear and I'm still to this day buying more.
One more thing from the adult side of me... if you are getting a bike to pick up chicks then you are getting it for the wrong reason. Yes girls love to ride and it's a novelty for a lot of people but it hold seriously consequenses if you're not responsible. Also, why would you want a girl that wants you for just your bike anyway?
Other than that, if you decide to get one... let's go riding!

get the bike, its more fun than any car can bring. and you get closer parking. not anyone can ride. you are apart of a rare group. bikes also save gas ...you can stunt aswell later on in time...and then your screen name will really mean something...

bike is more fun, but i've known lots of ppl who have fallen off....i think most ppl usually do

to be honest do not get a bike if u are not mature enough.. some stupid horomones that will kick in some day could mess u up for life... bikes really bring ur lifespan down.. dont make iit ur daily transportation.. my friends friend died of doing a stupid stunt in front of everybody...

yes its true what you guys said... but, seriously. who ever rides must know that you may not come home that day. but on the other hand, you can die at any moment and time doing nothing...enjoy life man, but there is nothing like riding a bike, ask any bike rider in town. when you ride just watch out for EVERYTHING.

If your looking for practicality. Then neither the Lexus or the bike would do. The reason is that if you buy the Lexus then the maintenance is going to be pricey unless you do it yourself. The bike wouldnt be practical because if that is going to be your only means of transportation then you have to remeber we live in Houston and it rains alot. But in the end its up to you.

Bike is not fun in 110 degree weather man! Also, in the rain, esp in the rain on black tar roads, cold rainy days, hot humid ass days, when they put out heat advisories, when you have to be somewhere dressed somewhat decent, when you go to downtown clubs, morning / evening traffic, cold ass days, when your sick, tired..........list goes on. Car situation first bike 2nd. Period. Believe me, I own a bike.

Yeah, keep the car and get a bike. I got a friend that works at Honda of Houston near I-10, his name is Joe, he'll give you a good deal. CBR 600RR or 1000RR badass bikes.

i'd go with the bike and keep the car. i'm sure the lexus insurance would be alot higher.. while bike insurance will only be $300 a year along with your accord. you just gotta be really careful and don't be afraid to lay your bike down because that could save your life.. bikes have no seatbelt, so if you hit a car you'll fly off and die, so just drop your bike and slide, then there will atleast be something protecting you from the car, and hopefully you'll be wearing protective gear so you won't get too fucked up, maybe some broken bones, but that's better than losing your life.
