Yeah I get some there but I usually get them anywhere I can get em. The thing that sucks is when you get the tabs and it sounds nothing like the actual song. Its happened to me a couple times.

i've been playing for about 5 years, i used to know a shitload of songs but then i started writing my own and i forgot all of them. if you're in to acoustic try some jack johnson or old hippy songs. it sounds stupid but if you really listen to most of them they are really good. and plus, that was back when the guitar players for a band could actually play! i like a lot of old tom petty acoustic stuff, neil young, and the beatles. playing old love songs on an acoustic will always get the ladies! i like to figure out songs myself but if you need tabs harmonycentral.com has a pretty good database.

i would suggest downloading whatever song you decide to try as well. if you don't know how its supposed to sound, its kinda hard to figure out. and when you learn a new song, pay attention to any different chords shapes or styles so you can use that when you decide to make your own stuff. most of all, don't get frustrated, its inevitable but try not to.
