doesnt have to be, mine is, but you can have it under your seat, the officer just has to be able too look at it if asked for.

I've had the bike for about 8 months and I still haven't gotten it inspected. Expired about 3 yrs ago.

Yeh, on bikes Ive never seen or heard of someone getting a ticket for it. A friend of mine had a bike he got(uninspected) and never got it done, he never got pulled over...and his was showing in plain site lol.

Not true and I know from personal experience. The law says it must be visible on the bike (or something along those lines). Stupid fucking Sugar Land PD pulled me over one day for ,"letting everyone know you drive like crazy" and then he said my inspection was illegal because I had it in my wallet. I was like, as you can see there is no where to put it. He's like whoever constructed this bracket (my fender eliminator) did a good job but they didn't put a place for the inspection (thanks asshole that was me.) Then he gives me a lesson on how he's had to pick up dead people from bike wrecks even if they are, "wearing gear like yours." Oh and to top it off it was a motorcycle cop. Anyway, now my inspection is on my swingarm (gay).

Eh just for accuracy sake.

§ 548.255. Attachment or Production of Inspection Certificate

(a) An inspection certificate shall be attached to or produced for a vehicle in the manner required by department rule.

(b) The department shall:

(1) require that a certificate for a motorcycle be attached to the rear of the motorcycle near the license plate; and

(2) adopt rules with respect to display of an inspection certificate for a moped.

Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, § 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.

There's the law.

My sticker is on my back fender which is invisible unless you walk up on the bike and look down at the rear tire. It doesnt have to be visible from the road per say. I was stopped by a DPS trooper once and he asked for it and I pointed it out he said ok, and that was that. If a trooper dont flip out, then its ok where it is in my book. I have a sportbike, dont know what you have but the point is that you dont have to put it out in the open.
