How old a car is this? It can be a number of things, but it really just boils down to a bushing or a spacer that is worn out and has dried up and is causing the engine and/or the suspension to sit in a certain cock-eyed way...
I just discovered this on my CRX. I just recently did some Prothane motor mount inserts and I found out just how worn out my old (original) motor mounts really were. The motor mount on the driver side was off. Meaning the mounting hole was about an inch higher than it was supposed to be, making putting in the mount inserts a real pain in the arse....
