so i just got my car some full coilovers with front and rear camber kits installed. 2" drop all the way around on my CB. well when i start driving it, i feel and hear something hitting pretty bad. at first i didnt know what it was until i see that the A-Arm is the hitting the inside of my fender, not enough clearance for the A-Arm to travel up and down. so i NEED some ideas or help on what i can do to stop that from happening.

thanks guys!

what brand camber kits are you running?..i do know that on accords..there's two types..the whole actual upper control arms camber kits and upper ball joints camber kits.

on early model accords..its a common problem for upper arms to hit..alot of time the guys cut a notch on top of the shock tower for it to clear.

a lot of people do that on cars with an upper control arm. it will hit on the shock tower, just make clearance for the arm to travel within that space. if you want to make it look less out of place, you can have a box or something welded on top of the open space.

wow, all i can say from an engineering stand point, that looks terribly unsafe. looses alot of structure right there.

i have ebay ball joints for right now in the front and ingalls in the back. i tried looking the for whole a arm camber kit and its a no go, no one makes them for a 91 accord that i know of...and the cutting the notch for it to fit not my style. and looks retard and super unsafe. im going to agree with the guy, doesnt look safe at all. but i was thinking about grinding down the a arm down a lil bit to make the clearance just an idea though

yea that is some jenky shit, dont cut massive holes in your strut towers.

plenty of people going super low do it. if you're worried about structural rigidity, you can weld a brace above it. this is better than people who completely rebuild the strut tower in order to have a cleaner looking bay or tub their fronts or rears.
