Can you resurface warped rotors and un-warp them? I changed out my brake pads and my rotors were warped, but didnt have the tooling/clearance to take out my brake rotors to get re-surfaced.

Currently, when the car has been sitting for a while, the brakes are fine, no shaking/vibrating etc. After the brakes have been used for a couple of miles or so, then you can feel the brakes shaking and vibrating through the steering wheel. What I assume is basically that the rotors are slightly warped and as heat builds up in the rotor, it gets more and more warped. When it cools down, the rotor returns to its original state. If that is the case, resurfacing might not help, because in essence you are removing more surface area from an already warped rotor. The less the surface area, the lower the heat transfer. To dissipate the heat, you need more surface area. But im no mechanic so I cant be sure.

Should I get the resurfaced or should I replace the rotors.
