alright hi i just got into the eg hatch but it isnt set up for power steering. what parts do i need to source to make the conversion. like what rack, pump, lines, ect....

get the rack and pump out of an eg with PS they exist and ought to bolt in.

more or less it should be, i would go to a junk yard and just take out the whole system that way you will have all the little hoses etc to do it all up then you can replace the crappy junk yard hoses with "new" ones from some where else.

alright so i was thi8nking about it and if i have a b16 motor swap do i need the pump that fits that motor and rack that fits that car? lmk thanks hi

the b16 bracket is a must as for the pump im guessing its relatively universal cuz i ran my b16 with my f22 pump for a week and it all seemd to be kool. the rack is a definite "must be from the car you wish to put it in". the hoses are probably going to be the hard part as im sure the length will not be right, best bet is to go to some one like napa that can make custom length lines.
