what are you looking for ride quality wise and performance wise? just daily drive or track day ready?

with suspensions you dont always get more for spending more. you can get some of the best riding and performing suspension on the market for under 1k if you look. i sell D2 coilovers for like 860 (this includes texas sales tax) plus shipping. D2 is one of the best, its been used in DTM racing for 15 years, and many many other european racing series use them exclusively.

the key to get ride quality and performance is having a shop help tweak the settings to your preferences.

im curious where you've seen that they're used in DTM racing, i was under the impression that d2's and ksports are made in the same factory and are similar coilovers. the only link i can find is the D2 CLK GTR, and i don't believe thats the same d2

OK seriously^^^. D2 sponsores like have the audi and mercedes teams since the late 80's just go freakin google any DTM image and i bet dollars to cents that you will see D2 suspension/air jacks on that car.

the D2 clk is def the same company and ksport is nothing like D2. ksport is made in some crap shop in tiwan, D2 is made in germany i used them on audi's back in the early 2000's when i worked for European legacy motors on Blalock i promise you that D2 is one of if not the best non-JDM suspension period.

i did google it for a solid 20min and all i could come up with is d2 privat is an investment firm. also, theres no way they would use chinese coilovers on a MB race car!!!! id bet my bottom dollar on bilstein, ohlins, moton, etc being used

ahhhhhhhh w/e that is not a D2 dtm car. i am not going to argue with you. ksport is junk i have had 2 sets already and i can say that when you bust a shock body pulling out of your drive way, they suck.
FF is great but way over priced for their adjustable strut model, for a lower price get The P2 kit from Buddy club and look it up in sport compacts 2008 suspension issue one of the best performing kits on button willow race way

If your not thinking of coilovers, on my 99 si, I ran Tanabe GF210 springs SPC camber kit, Tanabe Fron and rear strut brace, Tanabe front H-brace and Rear under brace, with Eibach Dampers, Progress rear swaybar 22 mm, and 205-50-15's in front and 195-50-15's in the rear. The handeling was great for autox and spirited driving, I sometimes hated it on bad roads, but understeer was not very noticeable unless you were comming in way to hot in a corner. It worked in my favor by scrubing speed when dive bombing people on turn in, kinda like a safety net to help slow you down.

alright my fault for even thinkin about believing marketing releases but typically companies are not that deceptive. they (D2) out right published them selves as a german company in a few places and claimed to have employed race engineers.

so again im fckin sorry for misleading.
