my setup
- 1 optima red top battery
- 4 guage fuse holder with 80A fuse
- 4 guage wire ground and power
- RF dist block with 80A and 70A fuse 80A for memphis 1000D and
70A for pheonix gold 180.2 and mtx crossover
- MTX RTX01A 2 channel crossover
- pioneer DEH-6400
2 6.5" coaxils
- pheonix gold qx180.2
2 linear 6x9's
- memphis PR1KD 1000 watt D class 1 ohm stable monoblock
2 alpine type R 1241D dual 4 ohm subs running
in 1 ohm mono
- baller box with no air leaks (alot of silicone)
and this is my new problem
my problem is that not that the amp pushing the subs, or the subs taking the power (i have gain on 60-65%) but that the amp cuts out (goes on "over current" protection) when i turn the music up too high, hit the ATT button, or ........ im running a stock alternator,1 optima red top battery, 4 guage wire for +/- on the memphis amp, the fuses in the system are both 80A
i was thnking
- 4 guage +/- on the battery terminals under the hood
- 1 farad digital memphis capacitor
