i need info on how to put brakes on a 2000 volkswagon cabrio. just wanna know if theres anything different from other vehicle.

Should be the same as any other car...If you need some help let me know, I've got nothing else to do...
Also, call Autozone and ask them if they have a caliper depresser tool for it, if they do then go rent it, if they don't they you can just use a big pair of pliers or a c-clamp...

thats kinda what i thought, its just that every time i mess with vw it ends up being a way over engineered part and has a special procedure to get it off and fix it. thanx homie

Well I did the brakes on a 92 Cadillac ElDorado a couple weeks ago and we ended up having to rent a tool from Autozone to depress the caliper, which is the only reason I know that, cuz I had never ran into that problem before and I have done brakes on quite a few different cars...
