Ill be installing rear springs/struts in the AE82. Any tips/tricks?

Also, I might have come up with a problem. In the OEM struts, you simply pull in/out the break lines. That way one does not have to disconnect them (and bleed them afterwards.) In the new struts, there is not a hole to just slide in/out the break lines.

Is it possible for me to just keep the break lines out of the hole in the new struts so I still wont have to bleed the lines and just ziptie them in place? will that be safe?

Thanks. I got a drimel (sp?) tool just to cut off a small opening so I can slide the hose in/out. I ran out of sunlight today and will be working on it tomorrow.
