Well, almost 6 years. I've had this car since October 2003 and I don't think I've ever taken pictures of my car. Woke up pretty early this morning to wash and detail. It was already getting hot by 9:00am :really?: and it was blazing outside around 2:30pm when I took the pictures.

Took a few snapshots because I don't know how to be artistic and I was getting lazy after the first shot due to the heat.

Yes, it could do without the front license plate but it keeps the cops away. I've gotten 2 tickets from not putting it on over these years but they were dismissed. I'd like to not hassle with it though. Easily fixed by just swapping over another foglight cover when I want another shoot :). I'll have to do this some other time when its not hot... like in the Winter.

Looks good...

Did you ever consider hanging the plate inside your car on the windshield... I don't think you'll have any problem with the cops then.

Are there any universal tips on car shooting during the day? I only have a T1i with the kit lens and 50mm 1.8 .

I wasn't really sure how to position and get a good shot without trees and electricity poles sticking out everywhere. Then again it was sooo hot I didn't really care at the time and just wanted to get back home asap. This warehouse place was less than a mile away from my neighborhood so getting to it wasn't too bad.

I also didn't like how the sky turned out too bright and you can't see any clouds.

Yeah, they're 17x9 +44. I bought the first run of them when Spun Auto ordered these for 5x100. Then a couple months later after I put these on, they ordered some 18x9.5 +38 :hsrun:. Oh well.

People would think its an RS. Besides, even to the person that doesnt know what a WRX is, the scoop gives it a look like if its fast. Removing the scoop would indeed give it a sleeper look.

From one fellow subbie owner to another, nice ride!

werd thats what my post meant. Not saying anything bad about the scoop, just wondering.

Circular Polarizer is your friend for shooting during the day :). Will cure the white wash of the clouds and such. Just be sure to get a tripod as it cuts down on the light significantly.

Alright, I just picked up a cheap CPL to test out towards the evening hours.

For the 2nd and 3rd image if I had used a tripod... I'm guessing I'm supposed to put those images together and erase away the reflective glass? Man this stuff is complicated.
