Best of luck with it. True for sure being a great car to cruise any distance. Had the best suspension according to various car reviews for cars in it's class during it's days. Just keep in mind no matter what price it was acquired for, any fix costs that occur, will go for at the same rate as it was originally worth in the beginning when it was new. Just make sure it never overheats, the heads are prone to warping if that occurs, from what I've read.

It already has. 2nd owner overheated it. BMW mechanic disassembled the engine and put a new head gasket in it and re machined the head. I was paranoid, so I ran a compression test beforehand. Numbers were healthy. Car pulls strong. I bit the bullet.
