Hey thanks man... the oval is owned by my buddy Fitz.. as for the motor it is an 1835cc built pretty tough and with dual webber 44s.

Is that a berg linkage? 1835, I built one of those once but the damn thing keep getting hotter then any other motor i've built. Its temps would go higher then my 1915 being run like a dog in a hot summer say and thats with LARGE sump on the 1835, you must have the magic combo. :thumb:

nah its just a linkage from redline whom sells these webbers... as for the motor its fully counterweighted, large sump, remote oil filter, and fully flowed oil system... I plan on going stroker soon and close ratio tranny.. horsepower for these things get really expensive..

I don't really agree, getting power out of a bug seems pretty cheap comparable to other cars I have worked on like my old bmw and porsche. A 1915 with a turbo with a rancho and good tires would make a great budget beast.

Is your rear swing? Do you like your narrowed beam? My bug always would track in the groves of the highway and that shit is really scary/annoying, do you have the same problem?

yeah its a swingaxle. I've thought about stock stroke turbo but im not sure yet.. as far as the beam its narrowed but flipping the tierods, alingment, and adjusting the toe helps alot... do you have a aircooleds anymore?

Yeah I have a Westy that I am almost done with that we will be road trippin' to mexico in and I have still have my 72 bay window deluxe and a 64 rust bucket that I plan to take all the useful shit off of and sell. If you want some OG parts for cheap, let me know what you're looking for and I will go rip it off the car for you.
