Deals on AMPs??

K.. im looking for a pair of matching amps... Need bout 1000W+ on the sub amp.. and at least 50-100W for the highs.. need a 4 channel for the highs that is also bridgeable... He may go active later.. I need to keep the price for the amps under 500 if at most 600.00

Brands im ok with.. MTX, RF, or any other decent quality stuff.. no flee market brands please.. If anyone knows any shops in town that i can get a deal like this.. lemme know.. thanks..

400 is a little steep on the memphis.. I can get an Arc Audio Kar series 1000 for round the same price new..

Is it true that JL is one of the best amps for the money. I hear you actually pay a dollar per watt. So the 500/l amp cost about $499

The JL is a good amp... you can find the JL amps online for much less than that.. general rule before was 1 dolla a watt was nto bad.. but now.. there are plenty of amps out that cost less than that and perform as well..

You sure do like memphis dont ya?? Memphis is a decent amp.. not bad at all but there are others such as the JL that have better components/ internals... Although the memphis are good amps.. i wouldnt place em in the same category as JL or ARc...

true..Memphis is a better value than JL, but when it comes to egronomics (SP?)..the JL wins hands down. the R.I.P system is very innovative. don't need to worry about voltage drops or that funk impedence.;)
