Bought this lens for my gf's d40 but I thought it had AF on it, but it's not. It autofocus on the other nikon models though.

It's in great condition with the filter lens stuff. Here are the pics I got from ebay when I purchased it.

and maybe trade for a lens that autofocus on the d40 that is good for all kinds of photos

Sorry just read it! Man this is not a bad price and for a backup lens its not bad also.

Yeah Khanh, for her camera if it's a sigma lens make sure it has a HSM motor. That will work for her camera. If you get a Nikon lens for her make sure it is AF-S type.

I know, I figured it out after I purchased it unfortunately.

not sure if I'll stick with the 18-200mm but seems to be a good lens to shoot all kinds of shot

D60 like the d40 doesn't have an internal autofocus motor, it will work but you will have to manual focus all the time
