I seriously doubt that without much proof.

The SVT Focus is not in any sense of the word...a drag car....its a 6 speed and the gearing sucks. If you wanna drag race by a ZX3 and spend the rest on engine mods...you would run circles around the SVT.

The SVT is an autoX car...suspension, tires, everything is meant for that car to turn...and it turns quite well.

how does running a 15.2 make it a drag car? 15.2 is not fast. why would the SVT not be capable of such a time? Didn't SCC, Import Tuner, and all those other ricer mags, as well as C&D, R&D, Ford, MM&FF all rate the SVT at right around those times? like, the 15.0-15.4 range?

Right off the showroom floor.....i doubt it.

Not knowing the sweet spot in the clutch to get a good launch and where to shift. Those are numbers a perfect SVT and great driver puts down...or a driver that has had the car for at least a couple of months. On top of that the engine has yet to break in so all the hp is not there.

I have my doubts...but if he did it...then more power to him.
