I found the motherload. The links below contain official 370z specs. As far as I can tell, this is new, unreleased information -- It says for release "November 19, 2008" Here are some nuggets I picked out, but the full details are in the links below. Happy holidays :)
NOTE: You might want to make COPIES of these, in case Nissan takes them down!
There are only two trims now -- "370Z" and "370Z Touring".
Then there are two available packages:
- "Sport package", which gets you the SynchoRev, and better brakes (see below), VLSD, aero package, 19-inch wheels,
- "Navigation", which gets you nav system w/ real-time traffic, iPod interface, 9.3GB music box hard drive
Wheelbase: 100.4 inches
Curb weight:
- MT - 370Z - 3232 lbs, 370Z Touring - 3278 lbs
- AT - 370Z - 3269 lbs, 370Z Touring - 3314 lbs
Horsepower: 332 max, torque: 270 lb-ft
Brakes: The sport package gets you: 14-inch 4-piston front, 13.8-inch rear, 2-piston.
Coefficient of drag (front): 0.29 (sport package)
Weight distribution % F/R: 54 / 46 (wtf!)
Nice looking suspension improvements -- lighter suspension components, etc

I'm not sure but here are the Nissan specs in 2002, the 2003 350Z weighed as follows:
Base 3,188
Enth 3,197/3,210
Perf 3,217
Track 3,225
Tour 5AT 3,239
Tour 6MT 3,247
i believe the 07/08 350z's are a tad heavier but i'm pretty sure someone else can chime in

Current base model is 3,339lbs with the manual.
Compared to the previous generation, the new one is about 100lbs lighter, has 25 more hp, and about the same amount of peak torque.
Should be running low to mid 13's consistently.

That car is really starting to grow on me....
I like the specs and the trim models, cut out all that silly "multiple configuration" BS of the 350Z.

Man there is a ton of room in that engine bay! Hello mod friendly.
Looks exceptionally high from the factory, needs to drop a few inches. Plus better wheel fitment with those huge fender flares.
I like it a lot though.

I hope the shift towards smaller, lightweight sports cars continues. Aside from this 370z, every generation gets bigger and heavier.
For a sports car, I'll take a bare-bones RWD 2500lb roadster. Give it a turbo I4 or small V6 with 250-260hp and it will be fast and efficient. Screw all of these 4000lb, 400hp cars.

So you want a stripped out Miata basically.
And what 4000lbs sports cars are you talking about? The only "sports car" that heavy is the GTR. The Corvette is 3200lbs. The WRX and EVOs are 3200lbs or lighter. The new Camaro and Challenger are both Muscle cars, and don't pretend to be otherwise.
3,200lbs has proven to be a very practical and efficient weight for modern sports cars that still need to meet safety requirements. Anything weighing 2,500lbs isn't going to be bought at a dealership.

A stock, new Miata weighs under 2500lbs in certain trims. So, basically a stock Miata with better looks and more power/torque.
Corvette is perfect....just too expensive for most.
Sports or muscle, I don't like 4000lb performance vehicles unless they combine a bit of luxury or roominess with performance (M5, CTS-V, G8GT).
